Elections for Student Government Association

The Student Government Association of Farmingdale State College is having elections for their Executive Board Positions. The positions are President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Read more information below about the elections that was provided by Alicia Femoyer from The Herd.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Completed at least one semester at FSC,

• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75,

• Have leadership experience,

• Be in good academic and social standing according to Farmingdale State College and the Student Code of Conduct.

Senate Positions – School of … Arts & Sciences, Business, Engineering Technology, Health Sciences, and Student Body at Large. 

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Completed at least one semester at FSC,

• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50,

• Have leadership experience,

• Be in good academic and social standing according to Farmingdale State College and the Student Code of Conduct.

Election Packets Available: Friday 2/25/2022

Pick at – Office of Student Activities, Quintyne Hall Rm. 111

Completed Packets Due: Wednesday 3/30/2022 by Noon

Drop off – Office of Student Activities, Quintyne Hall Rm. 111

List of Candidates Posted: Wednesday 3/30/2022 by 5:00PM

On RamCentral and FSC Website

All students who submitted a packet will be notified via e-mail as to whether or not they qualify to appear on the ballot. 

Campaigning Starts: Thursday 3/31/222 at 9:00AM

Candidate Announcements: Thursday 3/31/222 at 11:00AM

Candidates will make banners to announce their candidacy for Office or Senate.
