There was a seed that dropped from a tree.

Much bigger than me.

Much wiser than me.

Yet it dropped it’s seed 

for me to see.

Along the tree 

lived a squirrel.

With its bushy tail

it led a seed trail.

The seed sat in the ground 

and waited a while…

Sitting under the grass

in a dirt pile…

The seed was forgotten.

Many years ago.

Until the seed caught root

and began to grow.

Little sprout protected

from the feet of mankind.

Stretching out its branches.

Free body, soul, and mind!

Now the seed protects man

from the stormy rain.

Under its leaves

does it drop seeds

again.
