You never know how much time you will have on this Earth. You never know when it will be the last time you get to see someone you care about and tell them that you love them. In order to enjoy what life has to offer, you need to fall in love with your right to have freedom of expression. You can either write something that can hold a timeless value, and you can do something that will change the lives of everyone around you. Take a chance for once or if you already have, take a chance again to make your life worth living.

Here is a message from our Chief, Isaiah Hilman-Smalls:

“Writing helps me express how I feel about certain situations in a way that normal conversation can’t deliver. A lot of us like to write down our ideas before we decide to take action, and that is what writing should be used for. Writing has many purposes but one thing we all must realize is that it all starts with a pen and paper, along with a mind that has been struck with the impulse to create something amazing.

As my team says, ‘take a chance’ and create something that shows the world how amazing you are. I know that there is a star inside of you that is waiting to shine, so let go of the chains and allow your true self to roam free!”
