NAACP Chapter Overview
Let’s Recap:
A few weeks ago we made a Dale News Report on the upcoming NAACP Chapter and we told you about the impact it could have on Farmingdale State College. In order to get this chapter started this semester the positions of Vice President and Treasurer need to be assigned. If you would like to take the place of one of those positions you can email us or send us a message through Instagram to get more information. For now please read through this overview on what the NAACP Chapter will be about and what the program hopes to accomplish.
The Mission and Vision of the Organization
The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights in order to eliminate race-based discrimination and to ensure the health and well being of all persons. This mission leads into the vision that ensures a society in which all individuals have equal rights without discrimination.
