What happened?

At the end of this past Wednesday’s episode of The Young & The Restless, a CBS Daytime soap opera, Tessa Porter played a song to pay tribute to the passing of Neil Winters. This moment was more than just a scene because the person behind Neil Winters, Kristoff St. John, actually passed away on February 3, 2019. This terrible news hit the hearts of every member of the cast as well as the fans of the show, and the moment that Tessa created helped us appreciate more of what life has to offer. The name of the actress who portrays Tessa Porter is Cait Fairbanks who is a singer that records amazing songs when she is not playing her character on set. The song that was played is called “Fight or Flight” and it was released on January 31 in 2018. Ending the episode with this song was the right choice and it worked to represent the true feelings of everyone behind the scenes. There could not have been a better way to begin the tribute to Kristoff St. John because that moment produced an emotional connection between the cast, the fans, and his family.
