A change is gonna come.

I said a change is gonna come.

We’ve been fighting through a war.

Haven’t been able to see the light.

Can we hold on a little longer?

I’m not ready to give up the fight.

Can we try to stand together?

Can we move forward hand in hand?

I don’t want to lose everything.

So I need to take a stand.

A change is gonna come.

I said a change is gonna come.

Let’s focus on getting to a healthy state.

I don’t want to lose my mind.

I hope you see that we need each other

because you’re the safest place I can find.

Will you stay with me forever?

Can we break the record for love?

Can we be a team and win this battle?

To say from the pain and sorrow we rose above?

I don’t know where all of this hope is coming from,

but I know a change is gonna come.

The Corona Virus will pass and we will return to our lives. It will not be the same because after this we will have learned how to be more aware of the world around us, and we will all be stronger individuals who know how to come together when we need each other the most.
