Hello Dale News Fans! Thank you for participating in The Dale News Rebirth and staying with us through the process of creating new content. This past month we completed the first round of The Rebirth and each article has introduced a new perspective as well as a new method for our creations. The Poetry Reading will be successful through its ability to connect students to their daily activity of listening to music and falling in love with literature. With a chance to use song lyrics as poetry students can let their voices be heard through interpretation and the audience can relate with their own understanding. The Dale News Report has been improved and we wrote our first report on the ARDYs to give the live show the attention and respect that it truly deserves. We are proud of what we have done so far with the rebirth but we want to do more and we want to make a statement. The plans for success in the future of 2019 will not be stopped and we will be a strong force in Farmingdale State College. This is why we have prepared a special creative announcement to let our viewers know what we have coming up in the future. Now that our articles take more time to produce we want to make sure that each post has a story to tell and a lesson to learn. Please enjoy this announcement and be ready for the future of 2019!
Creative Announcement #1: The IHS Series
The IHS Series
“First we would like to introduce The IHS Series! This program will give you an exclusive look into solving the health problems that stop our progress. As we perform our daily activities every week we naturally develop health problems if we are not careful. The Dale News wants us to identify those problems and help its viewers understand that there are solutions and that there is no longer a reason to just complain. It is time to take action to improve our lifestyle and have a better overall performance. The IHS Series will take The Dale News to new heights and we are confident in our team’s ability to make this program very successful.” — The Dale News Team
Creative Announcement #2: The Dale News Fashionista
The Dale News Fashionista
“Next we have The Dale News Fashionista. This program will be your guide to the latest fashion trends, cosmetic materials, health advice, and more! In today’s world we pay more attention to our appearances and others ways that we take care of ourselves. We want to present ourselves to the outside world in the right way and we want to maintain our happiness within the world that we keep inside. Sometimes we all need some information and guidance to help each other grow to be prepared for the next stage. The Dale News Fashionista will help you find your own style within your professional and personal life to make you more comfortable and confident with everything that you do.” — The Dale News Team
Creative Announcement #3: The Dale News Job Search
The Dale News Job Search
“Now we have The Dale News Job Search. This program will be your guide to finding full time jobs, part time jobs, and internships that are connected with your major. The process of figuring out what you want to major in is tough and finding the right job or internship related to that program also has its own challenges. We want to help the students of Farmingdale State College have a new way to find the positions that they are looking for. Positions during the Summer or the Winter sessions when they have time off are very valuable as they give students work experience and important titles on their resume. We are excited to help students on their search for the best position and we hope that they will be interested in joining us on this hopeful adventure!” — The Dale News Team
Creative Announcement #4: A Dale’s Thought
A Dale’s Thought: Nature (COMING SOON)
“Moving on to A Dale’s Thought, a program that will allow students to express their thoughts in a creative way. The concept of this program involves an activity that we all participate in on a daily basis. Thoughts are always going through our minds and sometimes we come across an idea that really interests us, and then we turn that idea into reality. With A Dale’s Thought we can represent those ideas through our own sense of creativity and share our amazing abilities with everyone. The first article from this program will be on the power of nature so be sure to check it out when it is published.” — The Dale News Team
“Now you may have already seen these next two programs called The Dale News Poetry Reading and The Dale News Report from the articles that were published last month in June. We plan on making sure that these programs become a stable part of our website moving forward for the rest of this year. The Poetry Reading will help students connect with the form of creative writing that speaks to their heart and soothes their mind. The Report will grab the attention of the students who have interests outside of what a student newspaper consists of. With reports on sports, popular culture, campus activities, and other events students will be drawn to our website to read about what happened. There are other sites that will have the information on the events that we will cover but they will not have the energy behind their words that only our passionate team can produce.” — The Dale News Team
Closing Statement from our Lead Editor, Isaiah Hilman-Smalls
“The Dale News has really grown a lot since the beginning of this year and I am so proud of all the work the team has done. There is so much that goes into being a member of a student newspaper and it truly takes a team who is willing to go through everything to achieve the best result. I want to thank our executive leaders Dr. Noel H. Brathwaite and Nicholas A. Raia for all they have done since the start of The Dale News in October 2017. I would also like to thank Gregory Francis, Levan Dhanie, Darrien Hunt, and Matthew Martorana for all of their help throughout the entire process of the rise earlier this year. I am excited to see how The Dale News will look at the end of this year in December. We have a flourishing website and a successful Instagram page, and none of this would be possible without the advice from everyone involved so once again thank you to all who have helped us progress throughout the year. I hope that everyone enjoyed our creative announcement and will be looking forward to what our new programs will have to offer.” — Isaiah Hilman-Smalls
