Noda Conference 2014

I was so happy when I received the phone call that I was invited to Noda.  I am sorry, did I forget to mention what Noda is?! Noda is a huge Orientation Leader conference from schools all over the Northern region. Usually only Orientation Leaders with seniority get chosen to go to this fabulous convention. When I was invited I was shocked, especially being only a regular Orientation Leader. The conference was held in New Hampshire at the Radisson Hotel. I went with the two Orientation Leader adv...

New Chapter.

Hello my lovely readers!  How are we doing on this lovely day?  I know the blogs have been slacking recently, and I want to apologize.  I have been through so much recently, both in school and in my personal life, that I have let it take over and disturb this wonderful thing.  While there was the break between quotes, I have been doing some thinking; it is possible that after this week, I will no longer be posting quotes.  But that does not mean that you will be left hanging my dear readers. London Adventure: Last Day :(

Journal entry thirteen (Tuesday)   Well, there is not much to say about this journal entry, besides the fact that this is the day that we left London. I can honestly say I had the most amazing time of my life in London, meeting the most amazing people, and developing friendships that will last me a life time. The plan ride was nice and relaxing, and Michelle and I could not stop eating the whole plan ride home. Also we matched sweaters! We were so cute! Once we got back to the states it was...

London Adventure: Day Twelve!

Journal entry twelve (Monday)    On Monday morning, I went to the changing of the guards with the rest of the group. I saw the guards march and scream, which I thought was very amusing. I had to jump from spaces to get a good view and picture, but I managed! After the changing of the guards, I headed to Victoria station to catch the bus to the Harry Potter studios! I went with my roommate, and we had a ton of fun! The experience, I have to say was simply magical. On our way back, I ran into some...

While much of this is done on your own after doing research into the organization and position, a great first step is a stock résumé. The student success center specializes in résumés. The process involves making an appointment and providing them with your past employment experiences and educ...

After breakfast I went to the markets Spitalfield and Pedicoat Lane. After the markets, I went to the London bridge and Trifalger Square. I was able to take some really nice photos and walk on the bridge, which was an experience in itself. The view was absolutely magnificent. After that, I went to the Victorian Albert Museum, which was amazingly beautifu...

Once we got to Greenwich, we climbed up a hill to see a museum and the meridian line that divides the eastern and western hemisphere. I took pictures with some of my friends, with one foot on each side of the meridian line. This is the first time I can actually say I have been in two hemispheres at once! After the meridian, we did some walking and looked around at the markets. After the ...
