London Adventure: Last Day :(

Journal entry thirteen (Tuesday)   Well, there is not much to say about this journal entry, besides the fact that this is the day that we left London. I can honestly say I had the most amazing time of my life in London, meeting the most amazing people, and developing friendships that will last me a life time. The plan ride was nice and relaxing, and Michelle and I could not stop eating the whole plan ride home. Also we matched sweaters! We were so cute! Once we got back to the states it was...

London Adventure: Day Twelve!

Journal entry twelve (Monday)    On Monday morning, I went to the changing of the guards with the rest of the group. I saw the guards march and scream, which I thought was very amusing. I had to jump from spaces to get a good view and picture, but I managed! After the changing of the guards, I headed to Victoria station to catch the bus to the Harry Potter studios! I went with my roommate, and we had a ton of fun! The experience, I have to say was simply magical. On our way back, I ran into some...

Creating a Résumé

In preparing for employment one of the most important pieces of the puzzle is the résumé. The résumé and cover letter should be customized for the position and organization for which you seek employment. While much of this is done on your own after doing research into the organization and position, a great first step is a stock résumé. The student success center specializes in résumés. The process involves making an appointment and providing them with your past employment experiences and educ...

After lunch we had the guest speaker who was extremely informative regarding journalism. After that I went to Nottinghill Gate to do some shopping. After shopping, we got dinner and went to FroYo. Yes, SNOG!...

Working on your passion.

Today is February 11th, the day of the big reveal. I have been secretly and feverishly working on an iOS application since the beginning of the semester. After two long weeks, I have finally completed the app. I’ve been wanting to make an iOS app for a while now and kept coming back to the idea. After speaking with a friend who is employed as a programmer, he advised me to just "dive in", so I did! <-- (icon designed by my fiancé for the app,as my artistic skills are lacking) As I prepare...
