Tips to succeeding in College

Hey y’all,

This time I am giving you some helpful tips and reminders that can help you succeed during this semester and beyond. 🙂 Here’s the first 5 that I recommend:

  1. Plan Ahead

If you have some extra free time, start the projects or papers that aren’t due for a few weeks. Getting some of it done beforehand will mean less for you to do later.

  1. Check over your workYour pegged Procrastination meter

Proofreading or just looking over your work will give you a chance to catch a mistake or even a new idea.

  1. Don’t Procrastinate

Yeah, I know, I know, it’s easier said than done. I was one of those culprits that say don’t do it but end up doing it anyways. With all the new things I am involved with this year, I have (so far) stopped my procrastination and it has helped a lot!

  1. Set aside some “ME” time

Sometimes you just need some time to yourself, so take a break from school, work and studying to go get a coffee, have some ice cream or even watch some TV. When you do too much, you’ll wear yourself out and that can hurt your schooling/work.

  1. Organize your schedule in order of importance

Don’t always do the easiest homework first. Take the time to write a “To Do” list of your homework in the order of importance, meaning what is due first, second and third.

Good Luck & I hope these help. I will be posting the next 5 soon.

Your ever-helpful Rambassador,

Kaitlyn M.
