Finals ~ Here We Come

Final Exams - YesI hope everyone had a great time during their thanksgiving break.  It was a nice time to take a load off and relax from midterms. However, finals are fast approaching. There are many things that you could do to help prepare yourself for the impending storm, or you could just procrastinate and then cry to your professor after you see your grade (I am sorry Professor K).

So why not do yourself a favor and be prepared?

One great way to start (and you’ll thank yourself later) is to study a little bit each day, not too much as you do need a rest. But research shows that studying a little bit each day does improve your chances to retain what you studied later on.

Another great way to help prepare yourself is to de-stress. Do what you love.  Do what makes you feel good, for example, lift weights (get those endorphins going).  Or relax and read a book or listen to NPR (I am kidding).

If you are really ambitious get a head start by studying material the professor hasn’t taught yet, but  you know is going to be on the final.  This gives you an advantage and you’ll look cool sitting in class and knowing all the answers before the professor is done with the lecture.

I wish everyone happy holidays.

Be safe and have fun!
