The reality is that we live in the Northeast and while the weather is consistently beautiful in the Spring and Summer, in the Fall it does become more temperamental. Adjusting to the weather is important. I mean, it gets annoying that its cold in the morning and I wear a jacket, sweatshirt and then I start sweating in the afternoon… its not fun at all. I especially like it when all my books get wet getting caught in the rain. You should try it sometime. Always have a change of clothes and an umbrella in your car.

When the weather permits, the campus gardens offers great scenery to escape for a little bit from the stresses of school.

If you’re not on campus and would like to have some quiet time and relax, Bethpage Bike Parkway offers great routes through the forests (especially now since all the leaves are changing color) and roads and its just a couple of minutes away from campus.

Falls a great season to be outside, so don’t get caught unprepared for its unpredictable weather.
