Take A Load Off!

Good morning, afternoon or evening… well, whatever time it is that you’re reading this, good day to you!

College is stressful! It is. Everyone has stress, and we all have our own ways of dealing with it. Some healthy ways can be quite helpful and soothing, say, listening to music, reading a good book, or the gym (my belly looks like I’m 6 months pregnant and I am a dude). But we all deal with it.

photoSo, whats the best way to deal with stress?

There is no better way to deal with stress than to tackle it head on with healthy choices. When I am stressed, I like to sit on the benches in Bunche Plaza and read a good book for hours (great place to sleep in between classes, just wear sunglasses so no one knows you’re asleep).

It helps clear my mind and put things into perspective.

Don’t wake me up.

So go out and do your thing! take some time to relax, catch up on friends, listen to the hottest songs out now, or work out! Don’t let those pesky cortisol and nor-epinephrine chemicals ruin your day! Be proactive and have fun!
