Quick and Easy to make Snacks to bring to Campus

As students we are always trying to save money and time, we do not always have the time to prepare a snack that we can eat in between classes. Buying everything we eat from locations around campus or on campus itself can become expensive over time and when we have a full day of activities, we will most likely get hungry several times throughout the day. As a student myself I am always trying to save money here and there, to ensure that I use it for school related things such as supplies and textbooks. I have created this list of five easy and delicious snacks that can be prepared in less than TEN MINUTES!

  • Strawberry Banana Snack Wrap:

Spread some peanut butter (Cream Cheese if preferred) in a wheat tortilla and top it with some sliced strawberries and bananas, after this you could sprinkle some powdered cinnamon if desired and enjoy your delicious snack wrap hot or cold.

  • Pizza Bagels:

Begin by slicing a bagel into two halves. Spread some pizza sauce onto the bagel, and top with your favorite cheese or cheese blend. Add pepperoni or any other toppings you like. Microwave on high for one to two minutes.

  • Easy Quesadilla:

Begin with one large flour tortilla on a plate. Sprinkle your favorite cheese onto the tortilla and microwave for 20-30 seconds. After microwaving, just roll it up and dip it into your favorite dipping sauce!

  • Yogurt Parfait:

Choose your favorite flavor of yogurt. Mix in granola, sliced strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, and any other fruit that you enjoy. Mix it thoroughly and top with honey.

  • Hummus Cakes:

Toast a few pieces of bread, as many as you want to make the snacks. Spread hummus onto the toasted bread, and top with thinly sliced apple pieces. Pack them up, and you’re ready to roll!
