Week 4 – Settled down

Week 4 – Over ¼ of my time here in London has gone by, and it’s going quick! This week was a bit of a transition week, especially with classes starting and getting assignments. After months of being out of school, it is taking a lot to get used to this thing called homework. 🙂  It’s even trickier here because the teachers don’t check if you do your work, they just expect that you are constantly up to date with all the work and readings.

In between classes, I love to explore the surrounding area and am constantly surprised by this city. Unlike New York, London is filled with gardens and nature. During lunchtime, the parks get very crowded because on the days with nice weather, which is a becoming rare this time of year, they love to enjoy the sun and outdoors. Nothing too much going on this week, but this weekend I am headed to Scotland with my roommate whose from Queens. For our trip prep we love to go to the market and pick up some fresh bread to make sandwiches and of course eat a few fresh baked cookies is a necessity. Looking forward to Scotland, but not the bus ride! We have an overnight 9-10 hour bus ride. Wish us luck!
