This winter it seems as though the snow will never come to an end. Spring, who can even imagine flowers in this cold weather right now!
Here are some keys to staying warm, and not getting to school late:
- Start your car before you plan on driving it. This not only saves you the pain of driving while being able to see your breath, but it gives your car the opportunity to warm up, and get nice and cozy warm so that when you sit down, you feel the lovely warmth!
- Due your car already being warm, you won’t have the worry of being rushed because you can get into your car and drive right away instead of having to wait for it to warm up!
- Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to class. I always tried and gave myself about 5-10 minutes, and that was never enough. The earlier you get to campus, the better of a parking spot you get, and you’ll be on time for class!
What others are doing to get rid of the snow:
- Make a profit! Try selling it like some people in Boston have resulted to because there is just so much of it!
- Ithaca welcome center has resulted in telling people to go down to Florida instead of visiting Ithaca because it was just too cold and too snowy to do anything worthwhile!
- Multiple articles have also been posted about what spring looks like, since I bet that most people have forgotten what grassy fields and tulips look like.
Although we have a few more weeks of winter, we should just enjoy it because in no time it’ll be summer, and then when it’s over 100 degrees outside we’ll be wanting that snow time to come back J
