Black and Blue…or white and gold.

So, the dress.

I’m sure EVERYONE, and their extended families know about the dress and can’t come to the conclusion about what color is the dress exactly?

Here’s how this whole fiasco started.

The other day, my parents opened up a new business called Ground Floor Co-Working in my hometown of New Rochelle, up in Westchester county. It was nearing the end of the night and I received a text message from my friend who said what color is this dress? To my confusion, I asked her why? And she stated that a friend sent her the picture and said she see’s it as gold and white, but I see blue and black. I looked at the picture and agreed that her friend was wrong, and the dress was black and blue, obviously. To prove my point, I showed the picture to a couple of friends who were around me at the time I received the text. The first few friends agreed and said the dress was blue and black, how on earth would anyone see gold and white? Then after a few confirmations, I showed my sister, and she said of course the color is gold and white. My face went blank. Was she being serious? Yes. I turned my other sister (I am one of 9 kids, and I have 6 sisters), and asked her, and she agreed with my first sister stating the color was white and gold. Bottom line is, basically all who attended the party were now shifting their focus from the grand opening of our business to which color is right for this dress.

Bottom line, the dress is black and blue.

And thank you to whoever thought it was a great idea to share that because it has caused so much frustration and debate about the color of the dress.
