Ireland!

Went to Ireland this weekend! I flew into Shannon Airport where a couple of friends from home rented a car and picked me up! We drove over and hour through the countryside to the Cliffs of Moher.

When I first arrived in Ireland, the weather wasn’t the greatest, in fact, it was rather cloudy and gloomy out however, when we arrived to the cliffs the skies were an incredible blue color, but it was really windy! We walked along the cliffs for a while and some parts were literally on the edge, one strong wind and you could’ve easily fallen. Some parts definitely freaked me out, but it was so absolutely beautiful. I would strongly recommend people to go here if they have the opportunity. The cliffs are massive and breathtaking. After the cliffs we road tripped more through random small towns of Ireland called Kilarney and Blarney. Where they had some Christmas markets and festivals going on. We stopped off to get a bite to eat at an Irish pub and had their world famous Guniess beer.

After a long day of driving we headed to a bed and breakfast in the country side for the night which was nice and cozy, the perfect place to stay. The next morning we drove across Ireland to Dublin, it was a 3 hour drive through more countryside, small, narrow and really windy roads, it wasn’t the easiest drive! Once we arrived we settled into our accommodation and headed into town. Dublin was awesome, so many cool shops and bars to see. They have a famous Temple Bar that is massive, people from all over the world come and see this bar! Dublin was a really great city, a lot of fun things to do and you meet some great people there as well. Ireland was incredible; I wish I had more time there to explore more because I only got a glimpse of the country and it surely left me wanting more!
