Hey everyone!
Time Management 101 is a course I created. Sounds funny, right?
I strongly believe that you will never know your limits unless you push yourself to them, so I decided to start doing that! This semester I’m doing so many things… Take a look at the list below:
- I’m taking 21 credits (7 courses) this semester
- I have two jobs (on campus)
- I’m a Senator of the Student Government Association
- I’m a Rambassador
- I’m the vice-president of the Model United Nations Club
- I’m a volunteer for the One To World Organization
And not forgetting my social life… I go out with my friends a lot!
Most people wonder if I’m crazy. Well, I’m not crazy but I don’t consider myself normal either. 🙂 Lol. But seriously, it all depends on what do you want in life. I really want to graduate fast and get involved in the campus life as well. Also, a little income does not hurt anyone! 🙂
You may ask yourself, How can she handle that? Well, finally I’m going to share my little secrets with you!
1- Can’t live without my agenda: I carry my agenda every day and I write down everything.
2- To do list: I use post-it to remind myself of the tasks I have to do. I post them everywhere in my bedroom.
3- I start ahead of time: I’m very conscious about time. I believe that the sooner you start something, the better. I do my most of my final projects in advance so I don’t have to deal with them the night before the due date.
4- Priorities: I set my priorities based on their relevance. I don’t consider myself as an irresponsible person. I try my best to do everything on time.
5- Time for myself: Believe it or not, every day I look for some to relax and disconnect. I’m human being so I get tired as well. Thursdays are insane because I have too much stuff to do. But still, I look for those 30 minutes free to enjoy myself. It could be by taking a long shower, reading a book, resting on my bed or pampering me. I think is important to find a balance.
6- I have wonderful friends: I’m not going to take all the credit because I can’t manage everything alone. I take most of my business classes with my partner in crime Dayris and she helps me a lot! She reminds me to do the homeworks and support me on those days I just don’t feel like doing anything.
Well, I hope you find some motivation and start doing what you want to do. There are no limits!!!!
