Foundation Board Member and Wife Honored

College Foundation Board Member Sal Ferro and his wife, Molly, have been named “Couple of the Year” for 2020 by Model Citizens Magazine. Ferro (’84) owns Alure Home Improvements, a leading construction firm which has been featured in national home improvement TV shows, including the popular “Extreme Home Makeover.”
A product of philanthropy himself, he’s made it a high priority in life to give back to FSC, among other philanthropic efforts. He is a regular sponsor of the Foundation’s Golf Classic and President’s Gala, the college’s two signature fundraising events, and in 2007 he was the Gala Honoree. The Ferros have also funded a Student Emergency Textbook Fund as well as establishing their own Ferro Family Scholarship at Farmingdale.
