Former FSC president, Dr. W. Hubert Keen, is the 2018 honoree named to Farmingdale’s Aviation Hall of Fame. Student awards will also be presented.
Dr. Keen was the eighth president of Farmingdale State College, serving from 2007 – 2016. During his tenure, FSC’s enrollment grew by 50% to more than 9,000, the campus embarked on a $185 million construction and renovation project, and academic programs were expanded. The Aviation program grew with the addition of two new aircraft, expansion of enrollment in both bachelor’s programs, establishment of the first formal flight safety program, and expansion of regional industry partnerships.
The event includes a buffet dinner and dessert. Tickets are priced at $30; $20 for students and children under 18. You may pay by check or credit card.
