Human Trafficking Happens on LI Too

Monday, April 15, 2019 6:00pm - 9:00pm Roosevelt Hall Little Theater
Past Event

“Human Trafficking: A highway that leads to our neighborhoods” is a community forum that will examine the horror of human trafficking – and its impact on LI.

The event will include presentations from local experts, and a first-hand account from a trafficking survivor. You will learn to recognize the “red flags” of trafficking, and what you can do if you suspect a person is being trafficked.

The forum is sponsored by FSC’s Social Science Research Institute. For more information contact Dr. Miriam Deitsch; 631-420-2751.
