Introducing CircleIn, the All-In-One Studying Space

This Spring, all FSC students will have access to CircleIn, a new student engagement app that lets our students study together remotely, collaborate with their peers in order to exchange ideas, and stay productive.

Students logging into CircleIn on their mobile devices or desktop computers will find their courses pre-populated and will be able to reach out to their classmates to share class notes, ask each other questions, set up chat or video study sessions, create and share flash cards, and more. Students also earn points for their interactions, and those who reach a certain number of points earn gift cards to popular stores and sites such as Starbucks, Dunkin, and Amazon.

Faculty using CircleIn will have access to an insights dashboard where they can see the types of questions their students are asking each other. By using the insights dashboard faculty will get a previously unseen window into students’ out-of-class collaboration. See our CircleIn information page for more information, or contact Karen Gelles at gelleska@farmingdale.edu.

There will be several short demonstrations of CircleIn for faculty and students scheduled in the next 3 weeks. Please use the form at this link to sign up for one or more demonstrations, or to schedule an info session for a specific group. https://farmingdale.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_2fWgnDcKHHnMTEG
