Learn About Sustainable Transportation Research at FSC
“Mobilizing Safe and Sustainable Transportation” is the subject of a virtual meeting at which you will learn about sustainable transportation research being done at FSC.
In partnership with 511NY Rideshare, LI Mobility Week, and Car Free Day LI, the event will cover topics including FSC student research on Parking-Stall Demand Reduction, and Hypothetical Multi-Modal Transit Hub in East Farmingdale; a keynote presentation from Rutgers University on Health and Safety of Passengers and Operators in Transit; and a panel discussion on the benefits, logistics, and obstacles of being car-free on Long Island.
Keynote speaker is Clifton Lacy, MD, Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Transportation, Rutgers University. A panel discussion will include FSC faculty members Kazem Oryani, Michael Shenoda, and Alireza Shams.
