Richard Beatty, a member of the Admissions Office since 2014, has been named Director of Enrollment Technology.

Beatty most recently served as Assistant Director of Enrollment Analytics. He began his FSC career as an admissions counselor, then moved to Admissions Operations Manager, and Assistant Director of Enrollment Analytics. His new responsibilities include implementing emerging technologies and solutions related to enrollment; identifying redundancies in enrollment and retention technologies; overseeing the automation and digitizing of outdated methods to improve the student, faculty and staff experience; coordinating the sharing and use of data campus-wide to make better, informed enrollment decisions; and coordinating with the marketing function to implement and maintain effective communication plans to prospective students, applicants, and current students.

“Richard’s previous experience here at Farmingdale makes him ideally suited to work in this critical role as part of the Admissions team, and also with our staffs in Institutional Advancement and Transfer Student Services, as well as with the academic enterprise and student service offices,” says Patrick Calabria, Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Enrollment Management.

Beatty holds a BA in History and Government from Lafayette College, and an MS in Higher Education Administration, concentration in Enrollment Management, from Drexel University.
