Fun – and Free Bus Rides – in Farmingdale Village

There’s plenty to do on campus, but there’s fun close by, too. It’s as close as Farmingdale Village, where arts and entertainment will be happening later this month. Here’s a preview.

  • Art in the Park, Sunday, 9/15, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. An exhibit of 30 local artists on the Village Green, plus music and dance at the Gazebo. For more information, visit www.farmingdaleculturalartsday.org
  • Youth Open Mic Night, Friday, 9/20, 7:30 p.m. Music, poetry, comedy, magic and more, by performers 18 and under. All this and more at the Village Green (inside Village Hall in the event of rain). For more information, visit farmingdaleyouthopenmic@gmail.com

Need help getting around town? Farmingdale Village has the answer: Qwik Ride, a new free shuttle service operating weekend evenings. Check out the website and download the app.
