Visual Communications Seniors Strut Their Stuff
The annual Senior Project Design Expo is back, showcasing portfolios and presentations by Visual Communications: Art & Graphic Design graduating seniors. Forty students will exhibit their work. There will be a reception and awards from 6 – 7 p.m.
“The Visual Communications Art & Design programs prepare students to become creative problem solvers in emerging fields,” said Visual Communications associate professor and event organizer Donna Proper. “Design terminology, technological competencies, art fundamentals, and typographic skills are examined, as students design and execute products to to sell something, to make more money, or provide a service. These are the kinds of projects you will see when students present their commercially viable and culturally significant projects realized through graphic, web, product, and motion design.”
