Quiz Bowl at FSC Celebrates Black History Month

NYS Assemblywoman Kimberly Jean-Pierre is bringing the first-ever Quiz Bowl to FSC to celebrate Black History Month. It is the second event in FSC’s semester-long celebration of May’s Centennial Commencement.
Teams, consisting of three to five members each, will tackle questions from various categories. Teams will include middle/high school students, FSC students, and community organizations, which can have family and friends on their team. Teams may also have alternates. Teams must register by Friday, 2/15.
If teams need to add an additional member, or if individuals would like to be placed on a team, contact Lasheca Lewis or Yaryl Gonzalez at 631-957-2087. Once you have registered, Ms. Lewis or Ms. Gonzalez will contact you with instructions. If you do not hear from Assemblywoman Jean-Pierre’s office within 24 hours, contact Ms. Lewis or Ms. Gonzalez at the contact information listed above.
A free movie ticket will be given to the first 100 registrants.
