CTLT Hosts Intercultural Education Conference

Sponsored by both the Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT) and the University of Bologna, Italy, featured speakers include Luisa Bavieri and Lucia Livatino, University of Bologna, Italy.
Bavieri and Livatino will give Thursday’s keynote speech, “The IEREST Project: Intercultural Education Resources for Students Going Abroad and their Teachers.”
Also on Thursday, following the keynote speech, a panel titled “Study Abroad as Life Change” will feature FSC faculty members including Dr. Jeff Hung, co-chair, mechanical engineering technology; Ramon Gonzalez, assistant professor, aviation; and Dr. Stephen Patnode, associate professor, history, politics and geography; along with several FSC and SUNY students.
On Friday, Bavieri and Livatino will present a workshop on “Enhancing Mobility and Internationalization: Intercultural Learning and Teaching Activities from the IEREST Project.”
