National Wrestling Championships

Three Farmingdale State College wrestlers competed at the 19th Annual National Collegiate Wrestling Association Championships held earlier this month in Kissimmee, Florida.

Clinton Boone placed third in the 184-pound class with a 5-1 record. Justin Boone compiled a 4-2 record in the 141-pound class, and Mikey Illicete was 0-2 in the 149-pound class. The club team is coached by Jim Hall.

Last month Clinton Boone not only won his weight class easily but was voted one of the Most Outstanding Wrestlers as well. Justin and Mikey both qualified for the NCWA National Championships too.
