the lifetime and cycles you passed by for me to be.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

White rabbit, white rabbit, it\u2019s the first of January.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

What do you have for me today?\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

I know not much, but what my grandmother would say.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

I honor the way you jump to me~\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

The way you help me see the heritage of all that be.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

The family we once knew has grown out of the old clothes.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Remember when those loved ones were still alive?\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Now it seems like a chore just to survive.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

To share the story so that they can trust there is something\u2014 uniting all of us. <\/span><\/h3>\n

And that they must continue to thrust that purpose forward.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

White rabbit, white rabbit, it\u2019s the first of September.<\/span><\/h3>\n

What do you have for me?\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Time seems to be going by\u2026\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

If I can\u2019t get time, then it seems that I\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

should be spending it more with those in my lifetime\u2026\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

But leaves fall away\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

and even the brightest of the lights go astray.<\/span><\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

What do you have for me?\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

The leaves are falling,\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

old loved ones are calling\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

in the spirit realm that we no longer see.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Their flesh is falling away, lying in the grave\u2026\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

where we have to be the one that the young ones look up to see.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

White rabbit, white rabbit, it\u2019s the first of November.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

What do you have for me?\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

We come together to give thanks\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

to those who have come\u2026 to those who have gone\u2026\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Only so much can go on\u2026\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

in this time.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

I\u2019m feeling older as the weight of tradition in my heart grows sober as it goes colder.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Grasping onto the memories of the generations, <\/span><\/h3>\n

trying to share the story so that they will be remembered.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

White rabbit, white rabbit, it\u2019s the first of December.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

What do you have for me?\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

I\u2019m not talking about what\u2019s under the Christmas tree,\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

or the savior who was born a baby.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

When time is all gone, and my grandmother who once sang this song has now left me alone to sing this song, what am I to do?\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

I must continue through for the generations that come to pass so that they too may know you and ask\u2014\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

White rabbit, white rabbit, what do you have for me?\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

it\u2019s the first of this moment, now.<\/span><\/h3>\n

There’s not much else I can say.<\/span><\/h3>\n
