{"id":8461,"date":"2017-01-23T09:30:11","date_gmt":"2017-01-23T14:30:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.farmingdale.edu\/sites\/campus-times\/?p=8461"},"modified":"2017-02-05T17:01:43","modified_gmt":"2017-02-05T22:01:43","slug":"free-dental-care-for-kids-feb-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.farmingdale.edu\/sites\/campus-times\/2017\/01\/23\/free-dental-care-for-kids-feb-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Free Dental Care for Kids February 3!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Farmingdale will host its ninth annual <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-8465 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.farmingdale.edu\/sites\/campus-times\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2017\/01\/Child-Smiling-300x209.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"209\" \/><br \/>\n\u201cGive Kids a Smile\u201d event on Friday, February 3, from noon to 4:30 p.m. Children ages 1 \u2013 17 and their parents are invited to visit the Dental Hygiene Care Center in Gleeson Hall, to receive free oral screenings, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants (if necessary) and oral health education, provided by faculty and students from the dental hygiene department.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, a speech pathologist will be on hand, and nursing students will conduct blood pressure screenings for parents.
