Gallery hours are 9 a.m.\u2013 4 p.m., weekdays.\u00a0 The show is curated by Beth Giacummo, the gallery\u2019s new director.<\/p>\n<p>Goldberg \u2013 who works out of his studio in Rocky Point &#8211; will discuss and demo his work Tuesday, October 18, in Gleeson 104, from 11 a.m. \u2013 noon. A reception for the artist is scheduled for 5 \u2013 7 p.m. in Hale Hall.<\/p>\n<p>The artist\u2019s work is informed by a diverse range of sources, including Abstract Expressionist painters such as Franz Kline and Clyfford Still; Japanese calligraphy and woodcuts; and pop-era artists such as Robert Rauschenberg and Andy Warhol. Goldberg\u2019s work resides in numerous private and corporate collections, as well as the permanent collection of the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center in East Hampton.
