Stylistically, the artist\u2019s work is informed by a diverse range of sources, including Abstract Expressionist painters, Japanese calligraphy and woodcuts, and pop-era artists who re-contextualized commercial printmaking techniques within the paradigm of painting. Goldberg\u2019s visual language draws upon the lexicon of technology. The majority of his works contain digitally composed elements, drawn on a graphics tablet. Often executed on linen, paper or birch panels, Goldberg uses a combination of digital and traditional media including inkjet, pigment transfer, oils, gouache, acrylic, graphite and resin.
