Cuomo at signing of &#8220;Enough is Enough&#8221; legislation<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cNew York State put into place the most aggressive laws in the nation to combat sexual assault on college campuses,\u201d Governor Cuomo said. \u201cThis campaign builds upon our efforts and will help ensure students know their rights, and that they have the opportunity to earn a degree in a safe environment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Title IX Coordinator Dr. Veronica Henry indicated that students are made aware of these laws during orientation presentations by either Andrea Thomas, Assistant\u00a0Title IX Coordinator, UP Officer Keri Hauff or Dean of Students Terry Esnes-Johnson.<\/p>\n<p>The State Police CSAVU was created by the landmark \u201cEnough is Enough\u201d legislation, which Governor Cuomo signed into law in July 2015. The mission of the unit is to reduce the incidence of sexual assault through a prevention education program, which includes orientation for college students, faculty and support staff, and training for stakeholders.
