Chapter of IFMA &#8211; the International Facility Management Association.<\/p>\n<p>Great essays were the key to winning their $500 prizes. Colletti, a President&#8217;s List student who works as a purchasing agent at a construction company in Hauppauge, talked about the challenges he faces as a student, employee, and dad of a one year old.\u00a0 He is, he says, &#8220;determined to succeed.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Lorefice grew up in a family that worked in different areas of the construction industry, and he himself has worked as a plumbing and heating mechanic. \u00a0 Like Colletti, he too holds down a job and is raising a family.\u00a0 The IFMA scholarship is just one of several he has won.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Paul Colletti, a Construction Management Engineering Technology major, and Robert Lorefice &#8217;16,\u00a0 a Facility Management Technology\/Industrial Technology graduate, have won scholarships from the L.I.
