Your essay is not to be more than 200 words. It is to be original, typed, double-spaced, with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Please include your name and student ID number. No essay will be considered unless ALL guidelines are followed.<\/p>\n<p>The Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR) is a program for mature learners at Farmingdale State College.<\/p>\n<p>Essays can be submitted to <strong><a href=\"mailto:ILR@farmingdale.edu\" target=\"_blank\">ILR@farmingdale.edu<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>or to Thompson 119.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The application deadline for the ILR David Dicker Memorial Scholarship Award has been extended until June 30.
