{"id":4978,"date":"2016-05-09T08:29:52","date_gmt":"2016-05-09T12:29:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.farmingdale.edu\/sites\/campus-times\/?p=4978"},"modified":"2017-08-17T13:21:47","modified_gmt":"2017-08-17T17:21:47","slug":"fsc-web-chief-racking-up-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.farmingdale.edu\/sites\/campus-times\/2016\/05\/09\/fsc-web-chief-racking-up-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"FSC Web Chief Racking Up Honors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4985 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.farmingdale.edu\/sites\/campus-times\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2016\/05\/sylvia-nicosia2016-240x300.jpg\" alt=\"sylvia nicosia,2016\" width=\"240\" height=\"300\" \/>Spring is the season for awards and honors, and our own Sylvia Nicosia is hogging the spotlight!\u00a0 Sylvia, Director of Web Development &amp; Programming in the Office for Institutional Advancement, was a double winner last week &#8211; first from SUNYCUAD and the then from the HighEdWeb Association.<\/p>\n<p>Sylvia, along with her web staff, has won a Judges&#8217; Citation for Website Full Site Design from SUNYCUAD; there were only two winners in this category.\u00a0 She will receive the award at the\u00a0 Annual Educational Conference in Cooperstown next month.<\/p>\n<p>The HighEdWeb Association has recognized Sylvia&#8217;s outstanding work as well.\u00a0 She has been chosen &#8211; from more than 250 entrants &#8211; to present a session entitled &#8220;Redesigning Your Site for a Better User Experience&#8221; at the 2016 HighEdWeb Annual Conference\u00a0 in October, in Memphis.<\/p>\n<p>Sylvia knows whereof she speaks: she and her team did a complete redesign of the FSC website in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Spring is the season for awards and honors, and our own Sylvia Nicosia is hogging the spotlight!\u00a0 Sylvia, Director of Web Development &amp; Programming in the Office for Institutional Advancement, was a double winner last week &#8211; first from SUNYCUAD and the then from the HighEdWeb Association.
