The Award was created to recognize classified employees, in a manor similar to faculty and professional employees, for excellence and superior service to our students and the community at large.<\/p>\n<p>Classified Service employees include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Office and Administrative Assistants<\/li>\n<li>Library Clerks<\/li>\n<li>Nurses<\/li>\n<li>University Police and Security Officers<\/li>\n<li>Cleaners and Janitors<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance, Janitor and Grounds Supervisors<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance, Plant Utilities and Facility Operations Assistants<\/li>\n<li>Trade Specialists and Service &amp; Repair Mechanics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nominations may be submitted by a supervisor, coworker or other campus colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/aries.farmingdale.edu\/administrative-services\/\">nomination form<\/a> must be submitted by Friday, February 12, 2021 to Katie Brown: <a href=\"mailto:kathleen.brown@farmingdale.edu\">kathleen.brown@farmingdale.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are currently seeking nominations for the Chancellor Award for Excellence in the Classified Service for the 2020-21 academic year.
