FSC is a member of the FRN consortium which offers many fine opportunities for faculty growth, networking, scholarly activity, and publication. Programs provided by the FRN include:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The FRN Summer Seminar series (June 6 \u2013 10) provides an opportunity for faculty to participate in a week-long seminar on the NYU campus, designed to further intellectual growth, sharpen skills, and provide networking opportunities with other scholars in their field. Topics of the seminars are available at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nyu.edu\/frn\">www.nyu.edu\/frn<\/a>.<br \/>\n\u2022 The FRN Annual Symposium, held Atlanta, Georgia in November, provides a great opportunity for faculty to share the results of their research or pedagogical activities in a professional scholarly environment.<\/p>\n<p>All FRN programs are FREE to Farmingdale State faculty. The Deadline for applying is February 5.
