Award for Innovative Pedagogy, <\/strong>in recognition of his work on service learning and e-service learning in the Psychology curriculum. He was the first faculty member in the department to offer service-learning opportunities in his Atypical Development course, and created e-service-learning opportunities in which\u00a0 students virtually mentor children with disabilities.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr. Sayeedul Islam, Psychology. Award for Outstanding Faculty Mentorship,\u00a0<\/strong>in recognition of his mentorship of student research in the Industrial\/Organizational Psychology research lab. A recent graduate mentored by Dr. Islam stated: \u201cMy entire mentorship experience thus far with Dr. Islam has been valuable and unforgettable.\u201d<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr. Bryan Field, Physics. Award for Outstanding Scholarly Publication in STEM,\u00a0<\/strong>for his article, \u201cConstructive Standard Model,\u201d published in <em>Physical Review D.\u00a0<\/em>Dr. Field says \u201cthis paper gives a concrete and explicit example of how to build particle interactions without a quantum field theory. This is the beginning of a large research agenda and is the first of its kind.\u201d<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr. Ebru Ulusoy, Business Management. Award for Outstanding Scholarly Publication in Social Sciences or Humanities,\u00a0<\/strong>for her article, \u201cInter-Generational Pendula (IGP): Toward a Theory of Immigrant Identity, Materialism and Religiosity.\u201d Dr. Ulusoy says \u201cthis research investigates three central immigrant consumer values \u2013 materialism, religiosity, and ethnic identification \u2013 across multiple generations to develop a better understanding of the complex natures of immigrant populations and their adjustment to the host culture and economy.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT) has presented awards to four faculty members, for outstanding scholarship.
