Letters of nomination must be addressed to the Selection Committee, and sent to Lauren <\/strong>Romer<\/strong><\/a>, Assistant to the Provost, no later than Tuesday, 6\/30.<\/p>\n In compliance with SUNY guidelines, individuals may not self-nominate for an award. \nRecipients of these awards embody SUNY’s highest standards, to inspire and serve as role models for the academic community. The awards provide SUNY-wide recognition in five categories: Faculty Service, Teaching, Librarianship, Scholarship, and Creative Activities. Criteria for this year’s awards have not yet been published, so reference SUNY criteria<\/a> from the previous cycle.<\/span><\/p>\n
\nThis award is an expansion of the Chancellor’s Award program, to recognize excellence in teaching among adjuncts at the graduate, undergraduate, and professional levels.\u00a0 The primary criterion is skill in teaching.<\/span><\/p>\n
\nFaculty members holding the rank of full librarian or full professor are eligible. Faculty selected under this program represent SUNY’s pride and gratitude for consummate professionalism, groundbreaking scholarship, exceptional instruction, and breadth and significance of service contributions. Distinguished Faculty Ranks categories are: Distinguished Service, Distinguished Teaching, and Distinguished Librarian.
