Dr. Robert A. Saunders – professor of History, Politics and Geography – recently gave a seminar – Getting over Borat: Exploring the (After-) Effects of Parody in the Post-Soviet Realm – <\/em>at Malmo University, in Sweden.<\/p>\n

He has also published two papers: “Televisual diplomacy: I am the Ambassador<\/i> and Danish Nation Branding at Home and Abroad,” and “Pissing On the Past: The Highland Clearances, Effigial Resistance and the Everyday Politics of the Urinal.”<\/p>\n

Dr. Saunders was recently quoted in a USA Today<\/em> article<\/a> <\/strong>about coronavirus cases not being reported in Turkmenistan.<\/p>\n

In the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering Technology, Assistant Professor Supriya Karmakar was recently written about in Electronics Daily,<\/em> for his research in circuits. Dr. Karmakar is popular with his students, too. On RateMyProfessors.com, he received a 92% rating by students who said they would take his class again.<\/span><\/p>\n
