The award-winning &#8220;buddy movie&#8221; is Fichtner&#8217;s directorial debut.<\/p>\n<p>A limited number of free tickets are available to the campus community, on a first-come, first-served basis. Click here to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.farmingdale.edu\/feature\/cold-brook.shtml\">reserve a seat<\/a><\/strong>, by Monday, 9\/30. A Q&amp;A with President Nader will take place at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Fichtner has more than 50 films to his credit, including <em>Armageddon<\/em>, <em>Black Hawk Down<\/em>, <em>The Dark Knight<\/em>, <em>The Perfect Storm, The Lone Ranger, <\/em>and <em>Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. <\/em>He currently appears on network television as Adam Janikowski, in the CBS comedy, <em>Mom<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Cold Brook, <\/em>which goes into general release in November, was recently screened at the Woodstock Film Festival, where it won the <em>Carpe Diem Andretta<\/em> Award. Fichtner co-wrote, produced, directed, and stars in the film, which was shot in upstate Buffalo and Cortland.
