{"id":24470,"date":"2019-07-22T15:12:09","date_gmt":"2019-07-22T19:12:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.farmingdale.edu\/sites\/campus-times\/?p=24470"},"modified":"2019-09-13T16:11:37","modified_gmt":"2019-09-13T20:11:37","slug":"sylvia-nicosia-appointed-to-two-suny-posts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.farmingdale.edu\/sites\/campus-times\/2019\/07\/22\/sylvia-nicosia-appointed-to-two-suny-posts\/","title":{"rendered":"Sylvia Nicosia Appointed to Two SUNY Posts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sylvia Nicosia, Director of Web Programming and Development in the Office for Institutional Advancement, has been appointed to two high-profile SUNY work groups &#8211; one on the web side and the other a social justice initiative.<\/p>\n<p>First, Nicosia has been named FSC&#8217;s Electronic &amp; Information Technology (EIT) Accessibility Officer, where she will help set the direction of FSC&#8217;s web accessibility plan, policy, compliance, and awareness. She has also been appointed to SUNY&#8217;s EIT Advisory Council, where she will help the campuses with their implementation plans.<\/p>\n<p>Nicosia will also serve on the SUNY Faculty Senate Committee on Equity, Inclusion and Diversity.
