The Selection Committee said of her: “Lori considers her role of teacher as an extension of her nursing practice. She clearly values the human experience and treats her patients as if they were her own family. It is with this guiding philosophy and belief that she teaches her students the principles of nursing.” A former student explained: “Dr. Goodstone is an incredible instructor; she is incredibly knowledgeable and continuously pushes us to go the extra mile. Professor Scala has continually volunteered to do whatever tasks were necessary to promote Farmingdale and to be of service to the College in any capacity needed.” In line with his service mentality, he is a member of the Artists and Lecturers Program and advisor to the student Christian Fellowship. He is also advisor to the FSC chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE). However, what is most impressive, and valuable, about Professor Wild\u2019s teaching is her knowledge of graphic design.\u201d In addition to her excellence in the classroom, Professor Wild, a freelance graphic designer, displays her work across Long Island.
