The Multicultural Gala Is Back"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The campus community is invited to celebrate cultural diversity and FSC&#8217;s many ethnic communities at the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/farmingdale.edu\/multicultural-gala\">Multicultural Gala Celebration<\/a>, <\/strong>&#8220;Diversity and Inclusion through the Arts.&#8221; It will be a colorful early evening of fun and festivity, with music, dancers, art, poetry and food from around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Students and off-campus performers will offer dance, song, poetry, and instrumental performances. Among the table displays are the Bonsai Society of Greater New York; information about guide dogs; and an art show by Visual Communications students. Dr. Lynn Elfe, academic services associate director at Long Island Educational Opportunity Center (LIEOC), is the keynote speaker.<\/p>\n<p>The Gala is sponsored by Auxiliary Service Corporation.
