The lecture is part of the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/farmingdale.edu\/business\">School of Business<\/a><\/strong> Research Colloquium.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Sy&#8217;s accounting research has shown that accounting started in Africa. She is co-editor of <em>International Journal of Critical Accounting<\/em> and <em>International Journal of Economics and Accounting<\/em>, and editor of <em>African Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance<\/em>, and <em>African Journal of Economic and Sustainable Development<\/em>.
