{"id":22014,"date":"2019-02-11T14:37:14","date_gmt":"2019-02-11T19:37:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.farmingdale.edu\/sites\/campus-times\/?p=22014"},"modified":"2019-02-11T14:37:14","modified_gmt":"2019-02-11T19:37:14","slug":"survey-says-fsc-is-a-great-place-to-get-an-education","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.farmingdale.edu\/sites\/campus-times\/2019\/02\/11\/survey-says-fsc-is-a-great-place-to-get-an-education\/","title":{"rendered":"Survey Says FSC Is a Great Place to Get an Education"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The results are in, and FSC is looking good.<\/p>\n<p>The results are from the 2017-2018 graduating seniors survey, which summarizes the opinions of graduating seniors regarding their experiences while attending FSC, and looks ahead at their post-graduation plans.<\/p>\n<p>Sixty-three percent of seniors who graduated between December 2017 and May 2018 completed the survey, and these are some of the highlights:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The vast majority of graduating seniors were either very satisfied or satisfied with their experience at Farmingdale overall (93%) and academically (91%).<\/li>\n<li>65% of seniors graduating with a baccalaureate degree planned to look for employment after graduation, while 56% of seniors graduating with an associate degree planned to look for employment.<\/li>\n<li>44% of seniors graduating with a baccalaureate degree planned to continue their education.<\/li>\n<li>78% of seniors graduating with an associate degree planned to continue their education.<\/li>\n<li>When students were asked what they liked best about Farmingdale, faculty topped the list. Academics, campus facilities\/grounds\/size, location\/commute\/convenience, and atmosphere\/environment rounded out the top five.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The results are in, and FSC is looking good.
