Attend Child Protection Training and Policy Sessions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Child Protection training is an important component to ensuring the well-being of the young people who visit FSC. Those who work with minors ages seventeen and under are <strong>required<\/strong> to participate in a mandatory review of the Farmingdale State College Child Protection Policies.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, if you have not received comprehensive Child Protection training, you are encouraged to participate in an extended training, &#8220;Darkness to Light<em>.&#8221;<\/em> This training uses evidence-based research to inform about child sexual abuse.<\/p>\n<p>This is the schedule of upcoming sessions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wednesday, 6\/13, 11 a.m. &#8211; 1 p.m.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Whitman 150 \u00a0 \u00a0 Review of Child Protection Policies and\u00a0&#8220;Darkness to Light<em>&#8220;<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Thursday, 6\/14, 11 a.m. &#8211; noon\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Whitman 150\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Review of Child Protection Policies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please circulate this information to those who work with minors ages seventeen and under at FSC.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Child Protection training is an important component to ensuring the well-being of the young people who visit FSC.
